Got ya, didn’t we? Are you ready for a Spooktacular Halloween?

It’s that time of the year again…for candy overdoses.

Oh, come on….we know you ate some of that Halloween candy you had for the ‘kids’…..;) (oh, wait a minute. That was me… hahaha)

Ok, so we have a few very cool projects to share with you for Halloween!

Some of you are all caught up on our YouTube channel, but here are some great ideas for your Halloween Decor and general Halloween ‘cheer’ (or fear…hmmm)

Crochet Ghosts

These are so cute and super simple to make, specially for the somewhat seasoned crocheter.

We give you instructions on the 2 different sizes:

[column size=one_half position=first ]Ghost #1 (longer head)
sc= single crochet.
st= stitch
sc2tog= single crochet 2 together. This is a decrease. Insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop, insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop. Yarn over and go through these 3 loops.
Repeat from * to *
Chain 2
Make 6 sc in the first chain. Use a marker to indicate the first single crochet in each round.
Make 6 rows of 1sc on each sc.
7.- *2sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2sc*=8
8.- 1sc on each sc=8
9.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 3sc*=10
10.-1sc on each sc=10
11.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 4sc*=12
12.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 5sc*=14
13.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 6sc*=16
14.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 3sc*=20
15.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 4sc*=24
16.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 5sc*=28
17.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 6sc*=32
Crochet 10 rows of 1 sc in each sc.
Nose: Next row: sc 15, make 4sc on 1 spot, chain1, turn, make 4sc on the same ones you made, chain1, turn, pick up the same 4sc and pass yarn through them. Finish the row, making 1 sc on each sc. to marker.
Sc on each sc 3 more rows .
Decrease rows:
*sc2tog, sc on next 6*=28
*sc2tog, sc on next 5*=24
*sc2tog, sc on next 4*=20
Make eyes and mouth by cutting them out of black paper or plastic. Glue them on.[/column]

9.-1sc on each sc=15
10.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 4sc*=18
11.- *1sc on each sc=18
12.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 3sc, 2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 4sc*=22
13.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 5sc*=28
14.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 6sc*=32
Crochet 10 rows of 1 sc in each sc.
Nose: Next row: Make 4sc on 1 spot, chain1, turn, make 4sc on the same ones you made, chain1, turn, pick up the same 4sc and pass yarn through them. Finish the row, making 1 sc on each sc. to marker.
Sc on each sc 4 more rows .
Decrease rows:
*sc2tog, sc on next 6*=28
*sc2tog, sc in the next 12*=26
Take marker off.
*sc2tog, sc on next 2sc* around until you have16. Pass yarn through last loop.

Instructions:

Small White Pumpkin

Pumpkin (Crochet)

Worsted(#4) yarn -G hook or

sc= single crochet.

st= stitch

sc2tog= single crochet 2 together. This is a decrease. Insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop,

           insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop. Yarn over and go through these 3 loops.

Repeat from * to *

When you have few rows left to crochet, fill pumpkin with fiberfill. Then finish.

Chain 2

1.- Make 6 sc in the first chain. Use a marker to indicate the first single crochet in each round.

2.- *Make 2 sc in each sc*=12

3.- *2sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc*=18

4.- *2sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2sc*=24

5.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 3sc*=30

6.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 4sc*=36

7.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 5sc*=42

8.- *2sc in next sc, 1sc in next 6sc*=48

Crochet 12 rows of 1 sc in each sc.

Decreasing rows:

*sc2tog, sc in next 6sc*

*sc2tog, sc in next 5sc*

*sc2tog, sc in next 4sc*

*sc2tog, sc in next 3sc*

*sc2tog, sc in next 2sc*

*sc2tog, sc in next sc* until you have 6 stitches.

Cut long tail. Pass yarn through loops and tie. Weave in ends.

With one long piece of yarn (about 3 yards), fold in half and pass long tapestry needle through the 2 strands. Make knot at one end of pumpkin and pass needle from top to bottom, pulling at yarn each time, 6 times, to make indentations.

Make a 4 stitch I cord and attach to top of pumpkin.
